I fell in love with Maine Coons when I owned mixed breed coons for years. My first pedigreed Maine Coon came from a dear friend who had been breeding several years. Mr Red aka Snoopy was a beautiful Red Mackerel boy. The breeder would occasionally use him in her breeding program. She encouraged me to start my own breeding program but I was not ready.
Snoopy earned his Champion title in both Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) and Cat Fanciers Federation (CFF). Angelicoons is a registered cattery in both of these organizations. Our cats are shown and continue to get ribbons and earn titles.
I love this sweet, funny, outgoing breed and decided that I wanted to breed. My first girl was a Black Smoke from another breeder in NH and I started my breeding program about 6 years ago. Purrl earned her Champion title in CFF. Snoopy and Purrl were my foundation Maine Coons. My cattery has grown since then. This breed has brought me so much joy and I want to share that with others.
Kittens are raised in my home with other cats, a Newfoundland dog and a Doberman. Around 8 weeks old, adults and children are encouraged to visit which helps them become well socialized before they go home.
